Action Plan for further deregulation of business in Ukraine approved and launched
Ukraine carries out the following steps to ease doing business: the Cabinet
of Ministers of Ukraine approved an Action Plan for deregulation of economic
activities. The Ministries, central executive authorities and other state
bodies have already embarked on implementing it.
In particular, the blueprint introduces about 70 initiatives aimed at reduction
and simplification of licensing and permission procedures in a number of
sectors of the economy. Certain measures are being taken to bring a system of
technical regulation into compliance with the EU standards.
Among others are plans to optimize the system of state control over
business, as well as initiatives designed to simplify regulation in
agriculture, construction and telecommunications and others.
In general,
the Plan contains over 180 measures to improve business environment in Ukraine.
