Ukrainian Government takes necessary measures to secure appropriate and timely harmonization of national legislation with Acquis Communautaire
Presently the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted 119
implementation plans to harmonize national laws with 167 acts of the EU law. This
was announced by Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Danylo
Lubkivsky at a briefing on Friday, April 17.
According to the Advisor to the Prime Minister, at its
recent meeting the Government of Ukraine approved a number of implementation of
EU laws, inter alia in accounting and audit.
The Government of Ukraine announces execution of the laws will facilitate
introduction of simplified financial reporting and reduction of regulatory
control for small-sized enterprises. Instead, requirements on disclosure of information
for large enterprises and public companies will be strengthened.
The Ukrainian Government has endorsed 119 implementation plans to
harmonize national laws with 167 acts of the EU law. Overall amount of acts to
be implemented by Ukraine through 2014-2017 within the framework of the
Association Agreement with the EU is 180.
"Hence, the speed of adoption the implementation plans is sufficient”,
stressed Danylo Lubkivsky. “The
plans are never endorsed to remain just on paper, but to be introduced in life,
so the Government will review implementation of these plans."
