Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk met with a delegation of the U.S. House of Representatives

On Tuesday, March 31, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk met with a delegation of the House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress led by Chairman of the Committee on Armed Services William Thornberry.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk expressed gratitude for the strong support of Ukraine by the Congress of the United States of America and practical steps taken by the American party to intensify the defense capacity of Ukraine.

He also discussed with the Congressmen the support of reforms in Ukraine, focusing on strengthening energy security and the curbing corruption.

Prime Minister of Ukraine noted that the recent arrest of high-rank officials of the State Emergency Service is the proof of the commitment of the Ukrainian authorities to stamp out corrupt officials from the government.
