Arseniy Yatsenyuk met with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan
On Thursday, March 26, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk had a
meeting with Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, who arrived on a visit to Kyiv.
The Prime Minister discussed with the Turkmen Government official issues
of stepping up economic ties between Ukraine and Turkmenistan, promotion of Ukrainian
enterprises to the markets of Turkmenistan. Among top priority directions were
singled out construction, energy, agriculture and railway infrastructure
sectors.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk reaffirmed readiness of the Government of Ukraine to
hold in May this year a session of Ukrainian-Turkmen commission on trade,
economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation. The parties also
reached agreement on the exchange of visits of government delegations to
consider joint economic and energy projects.
