Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk met with Prime Minister of Sweden Stefan Lofven

On Wednesday, March 11, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk met with Head of the Government of Sweden Stefan Löfven, who arrived to Ukraine with a visit.

In the framework of the trip the Swedish party announced granting of a financial support for the Government of Ukraine worth USD 100 million. In addition to this initiative the governments of Ukraine and Sweden signed an agreement on cooperation in development area that envisages the support of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the implementation of the reforms.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Stefan Löfven discussed the priority areas for strengthening the intergovernmental Ukrainian-Swedish cooperation. It concerns projects in energy saving and energy efficiency, the financial sector management, improvement of the transparency of public authorities in their activities.
