"We are confident that our coalition partners will accept a Government’s parcel of bills," Finance Minister of Ukraine Natalia Jaresko stated during a joint press conference with Chairwoman of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeriia Hontareva.

In particular, the Minister said that negotiations were being conducted with the factions within the parliamentary coalition.

Recall that the Verkhovna Rada is expected to adopt draft amendments to the State Budget for 2015, a package of bills to amend the Budget, Tax and Customs Codes as well as changes to the law on pensions.

"During this week we have already had several talks and are going to conduct talks with all the factions within the coalition on the importance of these bills for rapid stabilization the economy. The adoption of this parcel of bills is a precondition for taking a positive decision by the Board of Directors of the International Monetary Fund regarding a new loan for Ukraine as a part of an extended financing mechanism already on March 11," Natalia Jaresko noted.

According to the Minister of Finance, Ukraine can receive the first tranche a few days after the IMF Board makes a relevant decision.
