Interior Ministry of Ukraine readies documents to pull out of an inefficient system of searching criminals, to be functioning in the CIS
The Ministry of Internal
Affairs of Ukraine has embarked on preparing documents to pull out of an
inefficient system to search criminals, that operating in the CIS. This was
stated by Interior Minister Arsen Avakov
commenting on the reports of law enforcement bodies of the Russian Federation
that the Russian side had not received respective requests for extradition to Ukraine
its former senior officials.
"In these circumstances,
the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is preparing documents on the unilateral
withdrawal from such a flawed investigation system, being under the control of
the Russian "justice," announced Arsen Avakov.
Moreover, the
Minister stressed that all the CIS member countries would be sent propositions
to cooperate in this sphere basing on bilateral relations.
