Sergii Koretskyi discusses 2027 infrastructure funding with responsible parliamentary committee
Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi, together with the Minister for Recovery, Infrastructure and Transport, took part in a meeting of the responsible Verkhovna Rada committee.
"We discussed in detail the pressing issues and priority tasks set out in the Government's Action Programme, including specific parameters of the 2027 State Budget — in particular, funding for Resilience Plans, the road fund, and other infrastructure needs," the Prime Minister said. "Our shared task is to keep infrastructure running reliably and to protect its resilience amid escalating enemy attacks."
Particular attention was given to renewing Ukrzaliznytsia's rolling stock, restoring key roads that support defence logistics and keep the economy running, the operating regimes of border crossing points, and protecting port infrastructure from Russian attacks.
"We agreed on close, productive cooperation with the Committee. We need to move quickly, work in a coordinated way, and deliver results," Serhii Koretskyi stressed. "I want to thank MPs for their constructive engagement and for backing these critical pieces of legislation."
