PM Arseniy Yatsenyuk met with EBRD President Suma Chakrabarti

On Tuesday, November
25, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk met with President of the European Bank for
Reconstruction and Development Suma Chakrabarti, who
is in Ukraine for a visit.
The Prime
Minister and the President of the EBRD discussed priorities
of cooperation within the Package on strengthening reforms and crisis support of
Ukraine adopted by the Bank on November 19. It’s, in particular, about the transparency
of public expenditure, stabilization of the banking sector, reform of the
energy sector.
Suma Chakrabarti confirmed the readiness of the EBRD to further increase its operations in Ukraine, including
the financial support of the corporate sector.
