Ukraine and Japan to strengthen cooperation in investment protection

Ukraine delegation has agreed the text of a bilateral draft agreement on the attraction and protection of investments with representatives of the Japan’s Government.

Pursuant to the implementation of an arrangement between Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on early completion of negotiations on a bilateral draft agreement on the attraction and protection of investments, the third round of negotiations at expert level has been held. During the event, the Ukrainian delegation agreed the text of a draft agreement with representatives of the Japanese government.

The parties have agreed to take all necessary measures aimed at signing the agreement as soon as possible.
