The most important objective
for the Government for the upcoming parliamentary elections due at the end of
the week is not to interfere in the electoral process, to thoroughly ensure all
the technological procedures to prevent violations. The Vice Prime Minister of
Ukraine, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities
Volodymyr Groysman announced on air of the Sobytiya program
on the Ukraine TV channel.
According to him, the authority receives a tool to provide for an
impartial electoral process, as the President of Ukraine has signed a Government’s
initiative on amendments to the legislation to intensify criminal liability for violation of electoral rights of
citizens, in particular, for bribing voters, comes into force in the near
future.
