Situation at Ukrainian-Russian border

Situation at the Ukrainian-Russian border remains troublesome. Cruel confrontation for restoring control at the state border continues. Border guards continue carrying out tasks according to the ATO general plan. Terrorists and Russian mercenaries keep attempting to redeploy automotive and armored equipment to the territory of Ukraine and firing the garrisons of border guard divisions.

Russian Federation continues pulling in its troops to the state border of Ukraine. It is known about the redeployment of 35th Guards Mechanized Brigade of Central Command of the Armed Forces of Russian Federation to Bryansk region. The Brigade is situated in front of the state border sector of Chernihiv border guard detachment at the distance of 10-12 kilometers. The transportations of divisions and military equipment of Russian Federation in front of Sumy and Luhansk border guard detachments were detected.

During last 24 hours, border patrol units of “Krasna Talivka” border guard division, Luhansk border guard detachment, were fired twice with automatic weapons from the territory of Russia. No one was injured. At the same area, near the border guard deployment 3 radio controlled landmines were blown up.

Exploration of border guard positions using unmanned aerial vehicles continues. Near 20 p.m. on July 14, the flight of unmanned aircraft vehicle was detected at an altitude of 1500 meters above BCP "Uspenka", Donetsk border guard detachment.
