The UK is ready to provide full assistance to Ukraine for its integration. This was discussed at the meeting of Ukrainian Economy and Trade Minister Pavlo Sheremeta with UK Minister of State for Europe David Lidington.

"We are ready to help and support you. We are ready to provide comprehensive assistance and will support your efforts to substantially use those opportunities, particularly in trade, which have opened to Ukraine with the signing of the Association Agreement," said David Lidington.

The Ukrainian Economic Development and Trade Minister reported tasks of the Government of Ukraine, including improvement of the business and investment climate as well as business development. Pavlo Sheremeta said Ukrainian authorities are consistently taking steps to bring Ukraine closer to European standards as soon as possible, as it is one of the main conditions for the promotion of Ukrainian goods within European markets as well as creating good business climate in the country.

"Among the tasks being on the agenda, such as anti- corruption, decentralization and de-monopolization of the national economy, there are also developments in this direction, "said the Minister.

The parties also discussed the possibility of establishing a roadmap of reforms in Ukraine that would be useful for potential countries-donors and international financial institutions, which are ready to provide Ukraine with assistance.
