Sergii Koretskyi discussed with Marta Kos stronger support for Ukraine and faster European integration
Ukraine has proven its ability to deliver on its commitments on the path to the EU. Over the past five months, four negotiating clusters have been opened. Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi said this during an online conversation with European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos and her team.
"I thanked our partners for opening Clusters 2 and 3. We expect the remaining two clusters to be opened by the end of the year," the Head of Government said.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine stressed that the shared priority is to ensure that a positive Interim Benchmark Assessment Report (IBAR) is prepared.
"Following the agreements between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, Marta Kos and I discussed the work of the newly established IBAR Task Force, aimed at strengthening support for Ukraine and accelerating European integration," the Head of Government noted.
They also spoke separately about the progress made by the Government and Parliament toward securing financial support.
"Ukraine will continue to actively pursue the path of reforms," Sergii Koretskyi assured.
