Sergii Koretskyi: Government is gradually restoring funding for temporarily suspended expenditures

The Government is gradually restoring funding for temporarily suspended expenditures, including for the regions, Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi has announced.

"This week, Parliament backed a number of vital bills that open the way to receiving part of the international financial assistance needed to cover the 2026 budget deficit. We are expediting all the necessary procedures so that funds from our partners arrive as soon as possible," the Head of Government stressed.

The Prime Minister once again thanked Members of Parliament for supporting these decisions.

"We count on equally productive work during the coming session weeks. Receiving the full amount of international assistance, and being able to continue restoring the expenditures that had to be suspended, depend on it," Sergii Koretskyi emphasized.
