State leaders commemorate the 28th anniversary of Chornobyl disaster

On Saturday, April 26, Acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov, First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Vitalii Yarema and Cabinet members took part in the ceremony of laying flowers to the Memorial mound "Heroes of Chornobyl" and memorial sign "Warriors of Chornobyl on the occasion of the 28^th anniversary of Chornobyl tragedy.

Also, the event was attended by liquidators of the accident, MPs, representatives of Kyiv authorities, church hierarchs and members of the public.
