According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of 9:00 a.m. on May 19, in Ukraine there have been confirmed 18,876 COVID-19 cases, 548 patients died, 5,632 patients recovered. In total 1,348 cases among children and 3,696 cases among healthcare workers were recorded. During the 24 hours, 260 new cases have been confirmed.

Kirovohrad region - 445 cases;
Kyiv – 2,359 cases;
Kyiv region – 1,245 cases;
Lviv region – 1,098 cases;
Luhansk region - 42 cases;
Mykolaiv region - 263 cases;
Odesa region - 784 cases;
Poltava region - 264 cases;
Rivne region – 1,188 cases;
Sumy region - 164 cases;
Ternopil region – 1,081 cases;
Kharkiv region - 816 cases;
Kherson region – 168 cases;
Khmelnytsky region - 267 cases;
Chernivtsi region – 2,742 cases;
Cherkasy region - 376 cases;
Chernihiv region - 110 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available.
12,898 patients, out of this number 1,114 children and 3,025 medical workers have been undergoing outpatient treatment. A total of 5,978 people were hospitalized, including 234 children and 671 healthcare workers. There are 245 people including 1 child and 21 healthcare workers having severe symptoms and undergoing treatment with the use of artificial lung ventilation machines.
A total of 5,276 people have already recovered, including 1,445 medical workers - repeat laboratory testing has found no virus in body.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of May 19, 2020, the Center received 945 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases. Since the beginning of 2020, 47,174 COVID-19 suspicions have been received.
