Made in Ukraine: Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture approves record number of applications for grants for processing industry
The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine has approved 157 new applications for participation in the Grants for Processing Enterprises programme for a total amount of UAH 875.9 million, submitted in the last wave of admission in 2025.
The programme is being implemented as part of the Made in Ukraine manufacturer development policy and is aimed at upgrading, expanding or restoring the production capacities of processing industry enterprises on a co-financing basis.
"This is the largest number of approved applications in a single wave since the programme began. Next, the enterprises must fulfil the co-financing condition and contribute their share. In total, since the beginning of the year, the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture has already approved 538 grants worth almost UAH 2.9 billion. This is 41% more than last year. This trend indicates growing business confidence in the programme and a willingness to invest in production, both for development and recovery," said Andrii Teliupa, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.
Manufacturers of furniture, lifts, equipment for the extractive industry, metal and rubber products, UAVs, food and printing products, building materials, clothing, and other value-added goods have been given the opportunity to implement projects with grant support.
Under the terms of the programme, 15 grants totalling UAH 106.8 million will be financed by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture. The remaining applications will be forwarded to the State Employment Service for processing.
Among the approved applications, 12 were submitted for the renewal of fixed assets of the production enterprises that were destroyed or damaged as a result of russia's armed aggression. Four of them are for the maximum grant amount of UAH 16 million. Applicants include machine-building and metalworking enterprises, manufacturers of digital communications equipment, construction materials, food products, and furniture. The first three grants were approved in previous waves of applications.
