Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has changed the procedure for selecting and appointing members of supervisory boards in energy sector

The State Property Fund of Ukraine reports that, in accordance with Resolution No. 1596 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 3 December 2025 "Issues of management of certain business entities," an updated procedure for selecting candidates for the positions of independent members of supervisory boards of business entities in the fuel and energy complex has been approved.

The procedure for selecting and appointing members of the supervisory boards of the state-owned enterprises Energy Company of Ukraine JSC and Centrenergo PJSC has been changed.

Documents submitted earlier by candidates cannot be accepted for consideration.

After the new selection procedure has been developed and approved, the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine shall announce new competitions in accordance with the requirements of the law and publish the information on its communication platforms.
