Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, posted 02 June 2022 12:58

Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization Kostiantyn Koshelenko said that in the Zhytomyr and Rivne regions there has been launched research and industrial operation of the Single Social Sphere Information System (SSSIS).

"Implementation of the SSSIS is a key factor in the digitalization of the social sphere, as this system will allow citizens to quickly and conveniently receive state aid without additional verifications and certificates from various government agencies. From June 1, research and industrial operation of the system continues in two regions - Zhytomyr and Rivne," said Konstantin Koshelenko.

The Deputy Minister of Social Policy also reminded that 6 social benefits had already been included in the system and this number would increase with each stage of the SSSIS introduction.

"The research and industrial expoitation of the SSSIS began in February 2022, but in connection with the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the russian federation, the plan for implementing the system was revised and adapted. Our priorities remain the same - the social sphere will be digitalized," said Kostiantyn Koshelenko.

    Background

The Single Social Sphere Information System (SSSIS) is a complex system designed to automate all areas of social support by all institutions of the social sphere within a single information environment and technological platform.

The SSSIS will enable every citizen in need of social support to quickly receive any kind of assistance through the front office in the local community and the CASP, or through the electronic services of the Diia portal.

The basis of the SSSIS is the Unified Social Register (USR), which concentrates information on everyone who is entitled to, receives or has received any type of state social support.
