Since the beginning of the year, the state has saved more than UAH 1.3 billion when purchasing consumer goods through the Prozorro Market electronic catalogue. This is more than in the whole of 2023.

In total, since the beginning of the year, 29,000 contracts for the purchase of goods worth UAH 9 billion have been concluded through Prozorro Market. In the first half of 2024, 6,000 customers used the e-catalogue.

Prozorro Market operates as an online store for procurement at the expense of taxpayers. The main part of the tool is administered by the state institution Profesiyni Zakupivli.

The customer can log in to the system through one of the electronic platforms, select the required product and announce the procedure in a few clicks. On average, a procurement through the electronic catalogue takes 9 days, which is three times faster than an open tender on Prozorro.

“Prozorro Market remains the most convenient and accessible platform that allows customers and manufacturers to quickly find each other. The increase in the popularity of the tool is extremely important, especially as it is so significant – in just six months, procurement through Prozorro Market exceeds the volume of the entire last year. Firstly, it helps the state save money. Secondly, Prozorro Market allows businesses to sell goods quickly and at acceptable competitive prices set by the manufacturer,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine.

In the first half of this year, the most frequently purchased items by public customers through Prozorro Market were food, fuel and unmanned aerial vehicles.

“Our key goal is to be a reliable partner for the state in public procurement. That is why we are actively developing Prozorro Market so that everyone can buy the goods they need quickly and conveniently. To do this, we are adapting the tool and expanding its range. In particular, this year, communities and the military have been actively buying drones in the electronic catalogue. So this is one of our priority areas. Also in March, some food products became mandatory for purchase in Prozorro Market. Today, almost 90% of food is purchased in this way. This means that customers have gained a positive user experience and choose the electronic catalogue for all their purchases,” said Yevhen Yakubovskyi, Director of Profesiyni Zakupivli.
