Today, our athletes demonstrate the power of the entire nation on the international stage of the Olympic Games and show our will to win. And the State Programme aims to unite society around national values within the country," said Matviy Bidnyi, Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
"The State Programme will ensure a solid foundation for fostering patriotism and civic awareness. Its development and implementation is the result of the efforts of many people and organisations," added Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Andriy Chesnokov.
The military, veterans, representatives of civil society organisations, executive authorities and local self-government bodies, as well as development partners, were involved in the drafting of the documents. The programme was developed until 2028 and covers all regions of Ukraine and more than a dozen ministries.
