The reforms initiated by the Government of Ukraine in the most important spheres of life will be continued in 2019, as all of them are aimed to achieve the key goal of the Cabinet of Ministers - changes in the quality of life of citizens. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Grosman issued this statement during the first forum "Partnership for Development", which gathered representatives of key organizations and governments of Ukraine’s partner countries.
Addressing the participants, the Head of Government stressed that Ukraine is facing unprecedented challenges, first of all, given the military aggression and the large debt burden. But the continuation of reforms, their systematicity and consistency are a strategic goal.
The adoption of the State Budget for 2019 became a great step forward in this direction. Therefore, all efforts will yield a tangible result.
"We have achieved a striking progress in many areas, and our partners commend it. The most important thing that we must get from transformations is to change the quality of life of citizens. We will work on this issue", Volodymyr Groysman stressed.
According to the Prime Minister, the decentralization reform is resounding success, which gave new opportunities to the communities. Similar changes are also felt in the upgraded infrastructure. New roads will allow to trigger new logistics solutions, and overall revitalization of the business climate will provide an opportunity to introduce new investment initiatives. Changes in education and healthcare systems are on the agenda. "In this regard, it is important for us to ensure the irreversibility of changes," Volodymyr Groysman added.
