Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman insists on switching to medium-term development strategy which will be based on the achievement of key reform goals and will not be limited to one year in a timely manner. The Head of Government said this during the first forum "Partnership for Development", which gathered representatives of key organizations and governments of partner countries of Ukraine.
"Reforms must be consistent and systematic. Thus, we plan to approve the decision on medium-term planning, which will not be limited to one year ", Volodymyr Groysman said.
Addressing the participants of the forum, the Head of Government identified the main striking directions of the Government in 2019. He divided them into several blocks.
The first one is economic growth. It encompasses continuation of changes and improvement of the business climate by introducing a reasonable regulatory policy, increasing the efficiency of management of state-owned companies, privatization, infrastructure development and energy sector reform.
The second one is to increase the efficiency of public administration. " Continuation of both the decentralization reform and the civil service reform is unchanging priority for us. We restart the whole system of state administration, " Volodymyr Groysman said.
The third bloc is to improve the quality of life of people and to invest in the development of human capital. And here it is important to continue the education and medicine reforms.
The fourth bloc is the security and defense of the state. It includes strengthening of defense capabilities, rule of law and the fight against corruption.
