NATO Office to Ukraine supports psychological rehabilitation training of combatants

With the assistance of the NATO Office to Ukraine combatants to be retired soon underwent psychological rehabilitation training.

Training occurred within the framework of implementation of the Way from Combat Deployment to Home Mental Training Program and was provided by specialists of the League  of Officers public organization acting on the basis of the Memorandum  of Cooperation signed with the General Staff of the Armed Forces  of Ukraine. Over the past two months 520 service members from  13 military units have undergone this training.

The aim of this program is to prevent PTSD and depression of soldiers during transitioning from military to civilian life.
