All the Ukrainian citizens aged over 60, if they have completed the full COVID-19 vaccination course, will be able to spend UAH 1,000 under the President's ePidtrymka program to purchase medicines. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced during a session of the Cabinet of Ministers on January 19.

“We also plan to expand the ePidtrymka program for children aged 12 to 17. To this end, we have issued an official order today," the Head of Government added.

Denys Shmyhal stressed that the Ministry of Health had already simplified the access of adolescents to vaccination against COVID-19. From now on it is unnecessary to have all mandatory vaccinations.

The Prime Minister also said that members of the Government would receive a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine after the meeting and called on all Ukrainians to get immunized as well.

"To strengthen protection against the new variant in Ukraine, there has been envisaged an opportunity to receive the third dose of the vaccine for all those who completed the basic course more than six months ago. I urge everyone to take this opportunity," said Denys Shmygal.
