1 million Ukrainians have applied for funding to take part in the national Health Screening 40+ programme. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko.

“Once an application has been processed, the applicant receives UAH 2,000 in state support to cover the cost of examinations at a medical facility participating in the programme,” said the Head of Government. “Health screening helps to identify risks to citizens’ lives and health at an early stage and prevent them from developing. This includes, in particular, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, as well as mental health assessments.”

Screening is available at 2,227 service points in state, municipal or private healthcare facilities. You can choose a facility regardless of your place of residence or registration.

You can apply for funding via the Diia platform or at a Centre for Administrative Services Provision (CASP). Once you have received the funding, you need to choose a suitable healthcare facility from the list of programme participants and book an appointment for the examination.
