Yulia Svyrydenko: Ukraine moves one step closer to the EU with the opening of Cluster 1 “Fundamentals”
Ukraine has moved one step closer to the European Union with the opening of Cluster 1 “Fundamentals”, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko announced.
“This is proof that we are moving forward. Despite the war. Despite all the challenges.
Our reforms are delivering results. Our efforts are being recognised. Our commitment to a European future is acknowledged,” the Prime Minister said. “There is still much work ahead. But today we can say that we have moved even closer to the European Union.”
The Prime Minister stressed that this achievement was made possible thanks to the work of Ukraine’s Defence Forces and the resilience of Ukrainians who fight every day for their European future.
“This is the result of the joint efforts of the President, the Government and Parliament,” Yulia Svyrydenko concluded. “I sincerely thank Cyprus’ Presidency of the Council of the EU, Ursula von der Leyen, António Costa, Marta Kos, Kaja Kallas and the leaders of all EU Member States for their support, trust and this historic decision. Ukraine is ready to move forward. Together with Europe.”
