Government launches comprehensive transformation of military service on the President’s instructions

Acting on the task set by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Government today launched a comprehensive transformation of military service. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

“First, this means clear service terms, new contracts, increased pay for service personnel both on the front line and in rear positions, and reform of military recruitment,” said the Prime Minister. “The key principle of this transformation is respect for every service member. People should know where they serve, how long they will serve, and what comes next.”

The Prime Minister stressed that “the transformation of the Armed Forces is a matter of national resilience and ending the war from a position of strength. The ultimate goal is to save the lives of Ukrainian service personnel and compel russia to make peace.”
