Yulia Svyrydenko attended a ceremonial gathering to mark Constitution Day

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko today attended a ceremonial gathering to mark Constitution Day, hosted by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a place of special significance for our statehood—the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. It freed us from russian occupation, stood firm against enemies, withstood a targeted russian attack, and preserves the continuity of our history.

“It is a symbol of our statehood—a thousand-year history of striving for knowledge, freedom, and a shared European cultural, spiritual, and political process,” emphasized the Head of Government. “Our Constitution is the result of this journey and the historical achievements of the Ukrainian nation.” 

The Prime Minister noted that our defenders, as well as millions of Ukrainians are working for the good of our country, are continuing this process during these difficult times of war.

“Thanks to them, we will stand firm and defend our most fundamental right—the right to be masters of our own land. Happy Constitution Day!” Yulia Svyrydenko said in her greeting.
