Yulia Svyrydenko: Funding is now available for IDPs from temporarily occupied territories under the eVidnovlennia program
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced the launch of a new phase of the support program for internally displaced persons from temporarily occupied territories.
Starting today, Ukrainians with combatant status or those with war-related disabilities who were forced to leave their homes due to russian aggression can apply for funds under the eVidnovlennia program.
Some 3,300 such families will be eligible to receive a housing voucher worth UAH 2 million.
Applications for funding can be submitted via the Diia app. Afterward, the program operator—Ukrposhta—shall verify the availability of funding. If approved, the applicant shall receive a notification of a successful application within 5 days.
The voucher can be used for:
• purchasing an apartment or house;
• investing in construction;
• paying off a mortgage.
Important: this opportunity is available only to those aid recipients whose applications have already been approved by the commissions.
“A person has 60 days to sign a housing purchase agreement with any notary. If the requested funds are not used, they are returned to the operator’s account and will be allocated to the next applicants in line,” noted the Head of Government.
