Denys Uliutin: We are working on a universal special account for all child-related payments
We are working on a universal special account for all child-related payments. This was stated by Denys Uliutin, Minister of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine, during Question Time with the Government.
The Minister noted that new support programs for families with children have already proven effective, with an increasing number of families applying for “child” benefits. In April 2026 alone, UAH 1.3 billion were directed on child care assistance for children aged under 1, and UAH 78 million - on the eYasla program.
“We have drafted a regulation on the terms of use for "child" funds; it has passed all approval procedures and will soon be considered by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. We are also working on consolidating a special account for all child-related benefits. That is, child care benefits for children under one year of age, eYasla, Baby Box, and School Starter Kit will all be managed through a single card,” stated Denys Uliutin.
He also emphasized that the Ministry of Social Policy, Family, and Unity, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, is currently finalizing a digital solution for submitting applications for child-related benefits through the Diia platform.
It should be noted that, to date, child care benefits for children under one year of age have already been paid to more than 114,000 women. Nearly 5,500 families have received eYasla assistance for working parents.
As a reminder, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine previously submitted a draft law to the Verkhovna Rada regarding the tax exemption of the monthly cash payment eSadok.
