Today, at an off-site Cabinet meeting, the Government adopted a series of decisions aimed at addressing the most urgent needs of frontline communities, announced Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.

“We are allocating funds in accordance with the greatest risks and needs of the regions,” emphasised the Head of Government.

In particular, an additional UAH 665.4 million has been allocated for the procurement of fuel for 9 frontline regions.

“This resource will ensure the operation of backup power sources for life-support facilities – hospitals, schools, shelters, water utilities. If the grid is damaged as a result of shelling, it is the generators that will provide uninterrupted operation of social and critical infrastructure,” noted Yulia Svyrydenko.

A total of UAH 1.8 billion has also been allocated from the reserve fund for the maintenance of important roads in frontline regions.

According to the Prime Minister, this decision was taken, among other things, in response to numerous requests from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These roads support logistical, medical, and humanitarian needs – both for the military and the civilian population.

In addition, UAH 1.46 billion has been allocated to the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development for roads of national importance in Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions.

A further UAH 306 million will be directed to regional military administrations for roads of local importance in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. Road surfaces in frontline regions have been damaged by shelling and worn out due to intensive use. The allocated funds will enable the necessary works to be carried out as quickly as possible.

In addition, UAH 1.6 billion in subventions for the fourth quarter of 2025 has been distributed to support local budgets, particularly those of frontline regions.
