Today, the Government adopted a decision to continue the personnel restart in the energy and defence sectors. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.

The Cabinet of Ministers has initiated the immediate termination of the powers of a significant part of the supervisory boards of major state-owned energy companies, including:

1) Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine LLC;

2) Centrenergo PJSC;

3) Ukrainian Distribution Networks JSC;

4) Energy Company of Ukraine JSC;

5) Market Operator JSC;

6) Ukrainian Energy Machines JSC.

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a transparent procedure for selecting candidates for supervisory boards. New members of the supervisory boards of the aforementioned companies are to be selected by late December.

"The Government has instructed the Minister of Defence to restructure the supervisory boards of defence sector enterprises. I expect regular reports," said the Head of Government. "Restructuring the supervisory boards is an important step, as it is the members of the supervisory boards who are responsible for strategic management and control of the company's internal processes.”
