Yulia Svyrydenko: Elimination of the consequences of russia's massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine's energy facilities underway
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko reported that the efforts to mitigate the consequences of russia's massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine's energy facilities are still ongoing.
In particular, as of 19:00:
- Water supply has been fully restored in all districts of Kyiv.
- Water utility infrastructure has been launched in Kirovohrad region, and water will be available everywhere until morning.
- Thanks to the work of energy workers throughout the day, Cherkasy region has been fully reconnected, while emergency power outages have been canceled in Donetsk region.
- Work is still ongoing in Kyiv — 540,000 consumers have been connected to electricity since night.
- Emergency power cuts continue to be applied in some areas of Kyiv, as well as Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, and Kirovohrad regions. In Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, power cuts only affect industry. Hourly power outages continue in Chernihiv region.
"I receive regular reports from the Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine, the Minister for Communities and Territories Development, the Minister of Energy, and the Minister of Internal Affairs. We are constantly coordinating our work with communities and RMAs.
I am grateful to everyone who is working all day today to eliminate the consequences of the attacks and ensure the viability of our country," Yulia Svyrydenko emphasized.
