Yulia Svyrydenko holds a meeting with representatives of mobile operators

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko had a meeting with representatives of mobile operators.
Mobile operators have already bought over 15,000 generators for backup power supply to base stations. More than 8,000 base stations are already operating using generators.
"Our common task is to ensure communication throughout the country even during prolonged power outages," said Yulia Svyrydenko. "Stable communication is important for the livelihoods of people and communities."
The meeting also focused on ensuring sufficient fuel supplies for the uninterrupted operation of generators.
Mobile operators are working to ensure that Ukrainians have stable voicecall coverage and the ability to send text messages under any power supply conditions.
