Yulia Svyrydenko: Over 23,000 entrepreneurs have been granted Energy Support for sole proprietors in the amount of UAH 235.8 million
We continue to provide systematic support to businesses amid the complicated situation in the energy sector. One component of the support package is Energy Support assistance for sole proprietors. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko announced this.
"Over 23,000 entrepreneurs have already received payments under the program in the amount of UAH 235.8 million. A total of 25,000 have applied, and the funds are credited quickly within a few days after registration.
Among those who took advantage of the support is Stanislav from Vyshneve. At the age of 18, he founded a medical center. Today, it employs about 20 professionals who provide medical services to over 2,000 patients, despite the war and prolonged power outages. Stanislav invested the funds he received in fuel for generators," the Head of Government explained.
Energy Support is available to sole proprietors in groups 2-3 who work in socially important areas and provide people with basic services. These include restaurants, pharmacies, shops, bakeries, medical practices, service stations, and other establishments. The state compensates between UAH 7,500 and 15,000, depending on the number of employees. The funding can be used to purchase generators, fuel, autonomous power supply equipment, solar panels, or to pay for electricity.
