Housing programmes of the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity to cover needs of over 41,000 IDPs in 2026: Denys Uliutin
In 2026, the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine continues to roll out housing programmes to meet the needs of internally displaced persons (IDPs). This was stated by the Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity, Denys Uliutin, during the Government Question Time.
“The total number of IDPs who will be covered by housing programmes in 2026 exceeds 41,000 people. A total of UAH 5.4 billion has been allocated for these programmes, including: eOselia for IDPs and frontline territories, supported living as a tool for persons with disabilities and older people, as well as a new model that we are currently finalising – social rental as a service to prevent vulnerability due to lack of housing,” the Minister said.
For reference, Denys Uliutin previously stated that this year the Ministry is allocating UAH 1.5 billion in subvention for the repair of modular temporary housing for internally displaced persons.
