Yulia Svyrydenko discussed with businesses issues to maintain economic resilience during the war

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko held a meeting with representatives of the Ukrainian business community.

“It was a frank and constructive discussion about how the economy functions under wartime conditions and what is needed to maintain its resilience,” the Prime Minister noted. “Business is demonstrating a willingness to work, invest, and grow even under difficult conditions. For its part, the state continues to create the most favorable conditions for this.”

During the meeting, business representatives clearly voiced a call for further deregulation. 

“The Government has already implemented a number of relevant decisions and is ready to move forward—we will further deregulate all processes where possible, primarily in the area of connections to energy grids. We will promptly develop the necessary decisions together with business representatives and adopt them without delay,” Yulia Svyrydenko told.

At the same time, the Prime Minister noted that any attempts at delaying or sabotaging the process—particularly by energy companies, regional power distribution companies, and regional gas companies—will have consequences, including personal liability.

“We are counting on the business community and working as partners,” the Head of Government emphasized.

Yulia Svyrydenko noted that such meetings would continue in various formats and sectors to maintain direct dialogue with the business community.
