Yulia Svyrydenko: We will endure and rebuild everything

Work to deal with the aftermath of last night’s attack has continued throughout the day. Four people were killed and nearly 100 injured, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko said, expressing condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.

According to the Prime Minister, around 150 sites across Ukraine were damaged, including 63 residential buildings, two educational institutions, a hospital and eight administrative buildings. Many cultural sites and museums were also damaged. Dozens of premises used by Ukrainian businesses sustained destruction as well.

“I want to thank every single person for the way Ukraine responded to this attack – with dignity and strength. It was a day of mutual support and unity that no missile can destroy,” the Head of Government stressed.

The Prime Minister also thanked all emergency and public services – the State Emergency Service, the National Police, medical workers and utility workers – as well as all Ukrainians helping at the strike sites and supporting one another. Even after a horrific night, businesses immediately began repairing windows, welcoming customers and providing food for rescuers. This is the true resilience of Ukraine.

The state remains alongside businesses and is ready to provide support. Yulia Svyrydenko therefore called on entrepreneurs to make use of the following programmes:
