Yulia Svyrydenko: A million Ukrainians submit Diia applications for UAH 1,000 in the first hours of Winter Support launch
In the first six hours since the launch of the Winter Support programme – implemented by the Government at the initiative of the President of Ukraine – Ukrainians submitted a record one million applications. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.
The Head of the Government reminded that the assistance is available to citizens residing in Ukraine, excluding those abroad or in temporarily occupied territories (TOT).
An application for the winter “thousand” can be submitted online via the Diia app from 15 November or at a Ukrposhta branch from 18 November. In total, more than 26,000 points operate across Ukraine.
Applications will be accepted until 24 December 2025.
The UAH 1,000 assistance can be spent on essential winter goods and services: medicines, Ukrainian-produced foodstuffs, postal and utility services, as well as books and charitable contributions.
This can be done within the following periods:
- Until 30 June 2026 – if funds are credited to the National Cashback card via Diia;
- Until 25 December 2025 – if assistance is received automatically via Ukrposhta;
- Until 25 January 2026 – if a written application is submitted via Ukrposhta.
