Yulia Svyrydenko tasked setting up a competition commission to select head of the customs
At its next meeting, the Government plans to consider establishing a competition commission to select the head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko following a meeting with Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhii Marchenko.
“I had a meeting with Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhii Marchenko. I instructed him to submit a decision on the formation of a competition commission for the selection of the head of the Customs Service for consideration at the next Cabinet session,” the Head of Government said.
The Prime Minister stressed that the selection of the head of the customs must be conducted in a transparent and professional manner.
“The Customs Service has to become a modern service that meets European Union standards and works with complete integrity to fill the budget,” Yulia Svyrydenko emphasized.
