The Government continues to deliver targeted support payments of UAH 1,500 to the most vulnerable segments of the population.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine has already made payments to 9.7 million pensioners. Of these, 8 million received funds into their bank accounts, and another 1.7 million through Ukrposhta branches. Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko told.

“In addition, payments for 1.6 million recipients of social assistance will be funded by the end of the week. All recipients will get their payments by the end of April,” noted Yulia Svyrydenko.

In total, the program will cover approximately 13 million citizens. Among them are elderly pensioners, people with disabilities, low-income families, recipients of basic social assistance, internally displaced persons among social benefit recipients, large families, and single mothers.

The payment introduced by the Government is aimed at providing targeted support to citizens amid rising costs, particularly due to rising global oil prices, and is intended to help overcome the price shock.
