Government appoints Head of State Customs Service: Yulia Svyrydenko

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed Orest Mandziy as Head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine. The relevant nomination, based on the results of an open competition, was submitted by Finance Minister Serhii Marchenko.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko emphasized the importance of pursuing systematic customs reform and strengthening the agency’s institutional capacity.

“We expect the new head to continue reforming the Customs Service and to build a modern, transparent, and effective customs system that works to ensure the state’s financial stability,” noted Yulia Svyrydenko.

According to her, one of the key tasks is the introduction of consistent changes.

“We count on consistent work to implement these changes and further strengthen the institutional capacity of the Customs Service,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
