Evgeniy Khmara meets with leaders of the United Kingdom, Latvia and Estonia
Minister of Defence of Ukraine Evgeniy Khmara took part in events marking Ukraine’s Independence Day and held a series of meetings with leaders of partner countries.
The talks focused on strengthening the Defence Forces and developing Ukraine’s defence industry.
During their visit to the National Military Medical Clinical Centre ‘Main Military Clinical Hospital’, the Minister of Defence of Ukraine and UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham were briefed on the hospital’s work and met with hospital staff and defenders receiving treatment.
Afterwards, Evgeniy Khmara and President of Estonia Alar Karis toured the defence industry exhibition and spoke with representatives of Ukraine’s defence industry.
Later, together with Prime Minister of Latvia Andris Kulbergs, Evgeniy Khmara visited the exhibition and spoke with Ukrainian manufacturers.
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine thanks international partners for their consistent support, solidarity and practical assistance in defending Ukraine’s independence. Joint efforts strengthen Ukraine’s defence capabilities, contribute to the development of its defence industry and help save the lives of Ukrainian defenders.
