  • eOselia: Ukrainians have taken out housing loans worth UAH 10 billion since the beginning of the year

    Since the beginning of 2024, 5,896 loans worth UAH 10 billion have been issued under the eOselia (eHousing) affordable loan programme. Contract service members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, teachers, doctors and scientists can get a concessional loan with an interest rate of 3%. For other categories of citizens, the interest rate is 7%. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Andrii Teliupa.

    “Since the beginning of the year, more than 3,000 service members and security forces personnel have been able to take out a preferential loan at 3% and improve their living conditions. Over a thousand doctors, teachers and scientists have also received such loans. Other categories of citizens can also purchase housing on favourable terms – since the beginning of the year, 1,500 Ukrainians who do not own their own housing and more than 350 internally displaced persons and veterans have taken out affordable loans at 7% interest rates,” said Andrii Teliupa.

    Over the past week, 163 Ukrainian families received housing loans worth UAH 276 million.

    115 Ukrainians purchased housing on the secondary market and 48 on the primary market, of which 15 properties are under construction.

    In total, 12,221 families have received loans worth over UAH 19.4 billion since the launch of the affordable lending programme.
