Manufacturers of transformer equipment will be able to reserve 100% of their employees: Yulia Svyrydenko

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted an important decision to support manufacturers of energy equipment, which will enable enterprises to operate uninterrupted and retain highly specialised engineers amid the emergency situation in the energy sector. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.

From now on, enterprises engaged in the production and restoration of transformer equipment for the energy industry will be able to reserve all their conscripted employees.

In addition, the Government has simplified the conditions for obtaining critical enterprise status – the number of criteria for such recognition has been reduced from three to two.

“This decision will allow equipment manufacturers, whose products are critically important for the rapid restoration of energy facilities, to work continuously,” emphasised the Head of Government.
