The Ministry of Social Policy and Cisco will cooperate to use the latest technologies in the social sphere. This was discussed during a meeting between Oksana Zholnovych, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, and Sergii Martynchuk, General Manager of Cisco Ukraine. The meeting was also attended by Kostiantyn Koshelenko, Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalisation.
The parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at introducing modern digital technologies in the social services sector. The main goal is to transform the needs for digital transformation into specific technological solutions, in particular in the areas of cybersecurity, corporate networking and data centres.
The Memorandum provides for joint efforts to strengthen the cybersecurity of the Ministry of Social Policy and organise trainings for social sector employees and professionals to improve their digital skills.
Cisco is a global leader in networking equipment and software for building corporate networks, managing multi-cloud infrastructures, ensuring information security and collaboration. In addition, the company runs various social programmes that promote the digitalisation of public services.
Cisco also uses digital technologies to retrain (re-skill) people in communities and to help in the psychological recovery of the military.
