Over the past 24 hours, 427 people have recovered in Ukraine and registered 422 new cases of coronavirus infection. This is the first time that the number of people who have recovered from COVID-19 has exceeded the number of people who have contracted the illness. The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov stated this at a daily briefing.

“For the first time in the course of the spread of coronavirus disease in Ukraine, the rate of those who have recovered exceeded the rate of infected. This is good news! ” stressed Maxym Stepanov.

According to the Minister of Health, a record number of PCR tests for coronavirus was also performed in the past 24 hours. “For the previous day, 8,069 PCR testings have been conducted. This is the first time that the number of PCR tests in Ukraine has exceeded 8,000,” added Maksym Stepanov.
