The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted amendments to Resolution № 211 of March 11, 2020, which will allow the opening of non-food markets.
The relevant decision was endorsed at an extraordinary meeting of the Government on Thursday, May 14.
According to the Minister of Health Maxym Stepanov, these changes will allow for providing overall trade services to the population, in particular, through the operation of non-food markets.
Non-food markets will operate on condition of compliance with sanitary and epidemiological safety measures basing on the principle of operation of food stores.
The decision will take effect after publication.
